A piece of my heart shattered this am when I heard the news. My best friend had lost her dad and a big piece of my childhood went with him. I spent many a day and night at the Durnfords and ate many a meal. It was my second home and I always felt welcome. In all those years, I had never seen Pete without a smile. Heaven has gained an angel today and I hope that smile is with Bruce and little Wyatt. Wishing the family strength and love in the days ahead.
