Reg was my all time favourite uncle. He always made time for me since the day I was born. We got very close because we lived with him and Nan when I was only a couple years old. I’ll always remember him making me knitting needles out of splints of wood while we sat by the old stove in Nan’s kitchen. Nan trying to teach me to knit. LOL. … I still can’t knit worth beans but I loved the time with them both. They spoiled me. He would also make me whistles out of green tree branches. I was in heaven there with them in La Poile. I will always treasure that and many other memories I had of him and my family in La Poile. I’m sure I drove My Uncle Reg crazy following him around and always wanting to be with him! Such fond memories and I will miss him dearly! Rest In Peace my dear Uncle Reg.
