Obituary of Susie Organ

It is great sadness that the family of the late Susie Organ announces her passing on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the age of 64 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre with her family by her side. Born in Burnt Islands she was the daughter of the late William Keeping and Clara (nee Neil) Francis. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her brothers, Fred (Alice) Francis, Kelly (Betty) Keeping, Henry (Louise) Keeping, sisters, Dorothy ( Jake) Proulx, and Vivian (George) Walters, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Sheila Keeping, Ethel Keeping and Evelyn Keeping, Willis (Hilda) Organ, Reta (Melvin) Bond and Marie Chant, a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Susie was predeceased by her husband, Sandy Organ, brothers Austin Keeping, Clarence Keeping and Edward Keeping, father and mother- in- law, Percy and Bessie (nee Taylor) Organ, nieces, Jamie Huelin and Tanya Keeping, nephews, Preston Huelin, Carson Huelin and Anthony Francis and brother-in-law, Calvin Chant. The family will be receiving family and friends on Friday, January 22 from 2:00- 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques, then continued on Saturday, January 23 from St. Thomas Anglican Church from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 24 at 9:00 a.m. from St. Thomas Anglican Church, LaPoile, officiated by The. Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in Susie’s memory can be made to the family.
