Carina and family,
We are heartbroken to hear of Danny's passing and are sending you our deepest condolences. May God bless you and may you always take comfort in knowing that the love you shared will live on in millions of beautiful memories
Danny was a shining light in the lives of everyone who knew him and he has touched us all with his good humor and kindness. He will always be remembered for the twinkle in his eye, his gentle smile, and his love of a good joke. May he rest in peace.
Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so...
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more

Carina, Mabel and families, we cannot feel sadder or sorrier to hear of Danny's passing.. Our hearts go out to you knowing how lost you must all feel. But his strong, loving presence is still with you. He left such a legacy of love that it will be your comfort and strength. Danny was an admirable man in so many ways. God bless you all as you grieve. No doubt, he is home among the angels. Rest in peace, Danny, you were a wonderful man.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Danny's passing. Danny was my first cousin and was such a quiet and gentle soul. He lived next door to my mom for years (Anne Leamon). Each time I went home to visit or take care of mom, I would see Danny whether it would be at a store or just passing by. Danny always had such a quiet mannerism about him,he was kind, generous and always willing to lend a hand. He always had a smile no matter what time of the day you seen him and he would always stop and have a chat. He reminded me of Uncle Earl so much. The last time I met Danny was on a trip home to see Rick and Wayne and we went for supper in Margaree and who should I bump into but Danny. He was there with his family and Aunt Mabel and the big smile on his face when we were catching up about his family. You could tell he was so very proud of all his family, a real family man. I will never forget him but now I know that in God's house he is free from pain forever. It may give all his family some comfort in knowing he was probably greeted by all the Hynes family that went before him, so he is in good hands. Rest easy dearest Danny and go with God. To his family, in this time of sorrow and heartache, do not mourn Danny, celebrate him. When the family is all around make it a point to tell funny stories, remember his favorite sayings or things he would do. Celebrate his life, do not mourn him as he would want you all to smile as he did. May God Bless all of you and wrap you in his loving arms and give you support and comfort in the days ahead.

Danny is my dads first cousin, meaning his kids were my second cousins, once removed. But none of that mattered while growing up across the road from each other. They were Uncle Danny and Aunt Carina for years before we knew the difference. Their kids were our "first cousins" but we grew up quite like siblings. They've always been such a close family, roots planted deeply in their Catholic faith. Danny was a quiet, knowing and loving man. He will forever be missed in our family. My heart goes out to his entire family, Aunt Carina, Danielle, Kara, Joshua, Joannah, Michael and Nicholas. His grandchildren, his mom Aunt Mabel, siblings and neices/nephews. The community of Codroy Valley and the Catholic Parish. Rest easy Uncle Danny, your work here is done, and such a fine jobe you've done. Xoxo
