Obituary of John Harries

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late John Harries announces his passing on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 76. Born in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, he was the son of the late Wyndam and Phyllis Harries. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his sister, Ann, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of close friends. In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. An invitation is extended to loved ones and friends to join us on Saturday, January 11, 2020, starting at 1:00 pm. A memorial service will take place at Oceanside Funeral Home,23 Read Street, Port aux Basques at 1:30 p.m. with visitations continuing until 4:00 pm. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Charity of one’s choice.
