Obituary of Dennis Michael Pike

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Dennis Michael Pike announces his passing on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Western Regional Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 66, with his partner, Susan, by his side.  Dennis leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his mother, Marie Pike, his partner Susan Skeard of 28 years, daughters, Erica (Donnie) Hancock and Aimee Skeard (Andrew Skinner), grandson, Hudson Hancock and granddaughter, Sadie Skinner, brothers and sisters, Garfield (Brenda) Pike, Brenda Pink, Ross (Debbie) Pike, and Diane (Roger) McNeil, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Eric Pike and brother in law, Chesley Pink.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques, Monday, December 9^th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 10^th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. In keeping with Dennis’s wishes cremation to follow. The funeral service and interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
