Obituary of Ronnie Organ

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronnie Organ announces his passing on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024 at Western Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side at the age of 69. Born in Port aux Basques, Ronnie was the son of the late George and Sadie (nee Harvey) Organ. Ronnie leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children, Candace Bond (Andres Vallejo), Janet Spencer, and Sammy Jo (Damien Munden) Tara (Thomas) Coley, grandchildren, Anna Spencer, Mason Bond, Morgan Bond, Marissa Sullivan, Katelyn Hatcher, Mitchell Sullivan, Mya Spencer, Lylah (aka Lilly) Spencer, Chelsea Coley, David Vallejo and Daniel Vallejo. Ronnie, who was a friend to many, will be sadly missed by his sisters and brothers, Melissa Parsons, Jessie Thorne, Roger (JoAnn) Organ, Susan (Philip) Hibbs, Bishop John (Irene) Organ, Ann (Max) Clarke, and Wanda Organ, sisters in law, Ruth Organ and Gladys Organ, his special girls, Summer and Winter Osmond, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, many friends and extended family. Ronnie was predeceased by his brothers, Freeman, Arch, Hickman, Denny, nieces, Deneen Haynes, Kaitlyn Organ, sister in law and brothers in law, Cecilia Organ, William Parsons, and Walter Thorne. Ronnie, who was affectionately known to many as “Big Ronnie”, was a gentle giant who never failed to put a smile on your face. He will be forever missed by everyone who was blessed enough to know him. In keeping with Ronnie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit Holy Sprit Anglican Church, Isle aux Morts, on Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow on Monday, December 16th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ken Abbott officiating, along with Archdeacon Charlene Laing representing Bishop John Organ. Interment to follow at Holy Spirit Anglican Cemetery, Isle aux Morts. Flowers accepted or donations in Ronnie's memory can be graciously made to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques.
