My condolences to the Gillam families. I've known Ike all my life. I saw him like an uncle. He was always so kind, caring & looked after me when I needed it.
Ike & my Dad were always up to something... usually ended up in a laugh.
Heaven's brighter now.
May you rest in peace Ike.

To the Gilliam family,
So sorry to hear of Ike's passing, I have many, many, fond memories of attending High School with Ike and playing on the Junior High School Jets, The Midgets, and senior hockey with him. Ike was a fierce player to contend with. We had a lot of fun back in the day. Our teams didn't have the big players like Gerald Tapp, Bob Candow and Wayne Law, but when we went up against them, they had their hands full with players like Ike, Rick Munden and few more of us. The last time I saw Ike was just before I moved to the US. We had a find chat about times gone by. Though we lost touch over the years with everyone going their own separate ways, but, whenever we see other, there was always time for a chat. We always cherished those wonderful memories we made during our school and hockey years. I'm sure the Gilliam family has many precious memories as well, hold to the memories and let them become your source of strength as you mourn the loss of a great father, poppy and mentor.

So sorry to hear of Ike’s passing. Have many fond memories of
Ike and the Gillam family who were our neighbours in Channel. If you wanted a prank pulled on someone, Ike was your man. He was always a great story teller (some of them were even true, but you never knew which ones.) RIP my friend. May your family find peace and comfort in their wonderful memories.
