Obituary of Donnie Horwood

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald (Donnie) Clyde Horwood announces his passing on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 78 years, with his loving family by his side. He leaves to mourn his wife, Phyllis (nee LeMoine) of 51 years; son Mark (Denise) Horwood, and grandson Ethan, Kanata, Ont; son Todd (Tammy), Horwood, sister Diane (Ward) Hardy, Harbour Le Cou, NL; brothers and sisters in law, Jack and Jacqueline Jesty, Orleans, Ont; Keith and Lucy LeMoine, St. John’s, NL, plus a large circle of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Donnie was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Pearl (nee Pink) Horwood, and father and mother in law, Nathan and Joyce (nee Dolomount) LeMoine. The family will be receiving family and friends on Tuesday, December 26th from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. at St. Michael & All Angels Church in Rose Blanche. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dianna Fry officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery.
