Obituary of Joan Enwood

It is with great sadness the family of the late Joan Enwood announces her passing, with her loving family by her side, on Friday, August 2, 2019, at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 67. Born in Burnt Islands, Joan was the daughter of the late Philip and Quennie (nee Keeping) Enwood. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her brother, Angus Enwood, sisters, Wanda (Kevin), Florence (Vince) Ball, Lucy (Marty) Bryan, her pride and joy, Owen Jeans, large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends, her caregivers, Pamela Jeans and Gail Anderson. Joan was predeceased by her sister in law, Cedella Enwood. Visitation will be held at the family home on Sunday, August  4th, Monday, August 5th, and Tuesday, August 6th.In keeping with Joan’s wishes cremation will follow and a graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillside Haven Cemetery with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the family. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Oceanside Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, 695-7010.
