Obituary of April Billard

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late April Dawn Billard announce her sudden passing on Saturday, April 29th 2023 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Center, at age 44, with her loving family by her side. Born in Port aux Basques, April was the daughter of the late Cyril and Audrey Billard. April had a smile and laugh that could brighten anyone’s day. If you were with April you were going to be happy because she was always so happy. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving brother, Roger (Beulah), sisters, Sharon (John) Billard, Roslyn (Perry) Warren, and Sandra (Darrell) Neil. April was proud aunt to Junior (Jennifer) Billard, Desmond Billard (Jody Dixon), Nicholas Warren (Amber Lillington), Aaron Neil, and Maria Warren, great nephew, Tanner and great niece, Marissa Billard and a large circle of friends. April was predeceased by her mother and father, Audrey & Cyril, sister Jeanette, nephew Michael, and niece Rebecca. Special thanks to her home care worker, Jeanette Billard and past home care worker, Marlene Wadden, for the care and compassion shown to April. Family and friends may visit St. Augustine’s Church on Monday, May 1st from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 P.M., with cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd at 2:00 P.M from St. Augustine’s Church with Deacon Herb Park officiating, with interment to follow in church cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted.
