Obituary of Arch Organ

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arch Organ announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Western Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side at the age of 79. Born in Isle aux Morts, Arch was the son of the late George and Sadie (nee Harvey) Organ. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a friend to many. Arch will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Gladys (nee Durnford), his son, "Caper" Duane Organ (Jackie Walters), his daughters, Rhonda and Shelley (Wayne) Butler, the apple of his eyes his beautiful granddaughters, Jennifer, Jessica and Julia Organ. Also left to mourn his sisters and brothers, Melissa Parsons, Hickman (Ruth) Organ, Jessie Thorne, Roger (JoAnn) Organ, Susan (Philip) Hibbs, Bishop John (Irene) Organ, Ronnie Organ, Ann (Max) Clarke, and Wanda Organ, brothers and sisters in law, Edna McDonald, Fred Durnford, Frank (Maryann) Durnford, Georgina (Lloyd) Fudge and Corwin Durnford, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Arch was predeceased by his brothers, Freeman and Dennis Organ, brothers and sisters in law, Samuel and Freeman Durnford, Cecilia Organ and Melita Walters. In keeping with Arch’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at Barry’s Lounge on Friday, October 28 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
