We extend sincere condolences to the Gillis Family. You were blessed to have such a pure soul among you. Joan was an inspiration to us all; she never let her handicap prevent her from her enjoyment and appreciation of the little things in life. She loved her family so much and showed such interest in the people around her. If the rest of the world was as peaceful as Joan, it would be a happier world. May she rest in peace.. I have no doubt the angels were waiting with open arms for her at the Pearly Gates.

We wish to send along our condolences to the extended family. Although we visited from afar on only a few occasions it was a joy to sit in the kitchen with Joan and listen to her tell us all about the goings-on in Codroy. She was especially kind to our daughter Cynthia who has her own physical limitations. May her memories be a blessing to all. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
