Arlene and I lived in close proximity so she was my first best friend. However, I loved to play practical jokes on her. I can remember both of us in my mom‘s kitchen, she was sitting on a chair when I asked her if she wanted to try a new drink. She said yes. I gave her a little taste of some green fragrant liquid. She drank it and realized it didn’t taste so good so she ran to Fossett, started drinking water and gargling. Bubbles were going everywhere. I started singing tiny bubbles. It was herbal essence shampoo!!

To Gary, Kristopher (Marilyn), Amy (Brett) dearest Riley and Dalila; the passing of a darling wife, mother and grandmother is indeed, one of tremendous sorrow and sadness. Arlene, was and will always remain a dearest friend of my sister Joanne. Thus, my heart goes out to each and every member of the Hollett and Pike families. Arlene's photo and smile says plenty of the type of person she truly was and will remain in the hearts and souls of everyone who was touched by her in any circumstance of life. Our condolences and prayers are with all of you including Arlene and her unlimited amount of friends and acquaintances alike. God bless everyone.

Garry and family, the Hollett and Pikes family,
It's brings great sadness to read of Arlene's passing. Many years of working with both Arlene, Garry and her sisters and sister in laws means many memories of shared family and work moments. Her smile and dedication to her family and work speaks for itself. Her love of baking will be remembered in every birthday cake she made, her Christmas carrot cake she made for our Christmas cookie exchanges and her cinnamon rolls.
In this time of deep personal pain may you find some comfort in knowing my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My condolences to Gary , Kristopher , Amy and all her siblings. We share the same birthday. Saw her that day and spoke to her . She looked so good. She gave me a Christmas decoration many years ago and it’s hanging on my door. Will cherish it forever. Our grandparents are siblings , so we are kin.
