Obituary of Danny Dutot

It is with our greatest sadness to announce that Daniel "Danny" Dutot has passed away at the age of 69 on the evening of Friday, November 26, 2021. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Marilyn (nee Butt) for 49 years. Deeply loved father of Glenn (Twyla), and Dayna (John), his adoring grandchildren, Callia, Natalie & Tyson, sister, Gladys, brother, David. He will also be dearly missed by many brothers and sisters’ in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends. As Mr. Fix it to those that knew him, he was always there ready to help and lend a hand. He loved to have fun and to make people smile. He loved music and the cabin, even better if it was music at the cabin. Now at peace, in God's Garage where the grease is clean the bolts don't rust. You are always in our hearts! The family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday, November 28th from 7:00-9:00pm at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. Please note that in accordance with provincial regulations, proof of Covid-19 vaccination and mask will be needed to enter for visitation. In keeping with Danny’s wishes cremation to follow. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of one’s choice or to The Wesley United Church Cemetery Fund. A big thank you to his home care providers Alicia, Stephen, Tianna. A special thank you to Brenda and the staff at Dr. Charles LeGrow Hospital.
