Obituary of Lillian Frances Lawrence

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Lillian Frances Lawrence announces her passing on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques at the age of 92. Born in Mose Ambrose, NL, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice Simms. Lillian leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her children; Emmanuel Lawrence, Frances (Maxwell) Day, Audrey (James) Russell, Don (Wanda) Lawrence, Alex (Juanita) Lawrence, Ken (Peggy) Lawrence, Gloria (Kevin) Maybee, Marina (Ted) Skeard, Howard (Ada) Lawrence and Diane (Donald) Foote, sisters, Dorothy Hynes and Georgina Fudge, grandchildren and great grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, James Thomas Lawrence, brother, Bill Simms, sister, Jessie Evans, daughter, Ann Fudge, sons, James Thomas Lawrence and Henry Lawrence, son-in-law, John Fudge and daughter- in- law, Linda Lawrence The family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday, September 26th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. and Monday, September 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 27th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Jane Allen officiating, interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre Foundation.
